3:20 pm Israelis hear on the news that Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi said the ceasefire negotiations would have positive results "within hours."

3:30 pm Another rocket attack wounds five people. Five minutes later, another rocket fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza hits a house, which is damaged no one hurt.

4:08 pm Iron Dome knocks down four rockets fired at the city of Ashdod, home to over 200,000 people.

4:28 pm Another rocket is fired at Ashdod, where residents have only 45 seconds to get to shelter before rockets explode.

4:54 pmMore rockets slam into Ashdod, injuring 7 residents.

4:56 pm Six more rockets explode in the area surrounding Gaza. Fortunately, no injuries.

5:13 pm And another rocket aimed at civilians explodes in Israel

5:26 pm Iron Dome intercepts another 4 rockets from Gaza aimed at civilian targets in Israel.

5:42 pm Another rocket from Gaza blows up on a building in Ashkelon.

5:58 pm Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted two more rockets over Ashdod.

6:02 pm Air raid sirens go off in the city of Rishon Le Tzion. A quarter million people run for shelters as a minute later a rocket hits apartment building and explodes, destroying several apartments. Fortunately residents were saved from death because they had taken shelter in a safe room. Four injured.

7:48 pm More sirens as terrorists in Gaza fire 10 more rockets at the city of Beersheba. Schools have been closed for a week and the city targeted by over 100 anti-personnel rockets from Gaza.

8:43 pm Several more rockets slam into the area outside of Ashkelon.

8:49 pm News released that a 31 year old civilian is killed by by a projectile from Gaza, married and the father of three kids.

9:39 pm A 50-year-old woman is hit in the head by a rock thrown by Palestinians in the West Bank, taken to a Jerusalem hospital in serious condition.

11:08 pm Hamas reportedly hacks into satellite channels and for a few minutes disrupts programming on Israeli TV.

11:48 pm Four more rockets blow up aimed at Israeli towns near Gaza.

11:49 pm A rocket aimed at the town of Ofakim explodes.

Wednesday, November 21, 2012:

2:38 am Hamas boasts that they fired 5 rockets at the city of Ashdod.

5:20 AM Air raid sirens in Be'er Tuvia Regional Council and the Gan Yavne region.

6:00 AM Residents of the south wake up. Civil Defense officials have instructed all residents within a 7-kilometer radius of the Gaza border area to remain within a maximum 15 seconds from a bomb shelter or protected area – the amount of time residents have to reach shelter once radar detects incoming projectiles and triggers air raid sirens.

8:00 AM School within a 40-kilometer radius of the Gaza border is cancelled, including large cities such as Beersheva, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and several educational institutions in Rishon Lezion.

8:27 AM Air raid sirens in Ashkelon

8:30 AM Work is cancelled within a 7-kilometer radius of the Gaza border area.

8:34 AMRockets on the way to Ashkelon and the Eshkol Regional Council. The Iron Dome intercepts three of the five falling on Ashkelon. Four other rockets explode in an open area in the Eshkol region.

09:07 AM Air raid sirens all over th esouthern communities

 

09:12 AM An official from Palestinian Islamic Jihad operating from Hamas controlled Gaza says that a ceasefire will be announced in the next couple of hours.

09:44 AM Air raid sirens in simultaneously in Be'er Sheva, around Ashkelon and Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.

09:45 AM Two rockets heading towards the Ashkelon area as well as two other rockets above Be'er Sheva are intercepted by the Iron Dome.

09:58 AM Air raid sirens in a number of southern Israeli cities, close to the Gaza border and up to Ashkelon.

10:00 AM The French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius criticized Iran for the regime’s "extremely heavy responsibility" the conflict in Gaza.

10:08 AM Several rockets heading towards Ashkelon.

10:23 AM Rocket explode in an open area near Sderot. Hamas also hits a house in Be'er Tuvia where several are being treated for shock. The house catches fire.

10:20 AMPalestinian activists protest U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s visit to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and her efforts to effect a lull. The activists stage a protest outside the presidential compound in Ramallah.

10:57 AM Air raid sirens in southern Israeli cities and communities.

11:15 AM Six rockets and two mortars exploded in open area in the area of the Eshkol Regional Council.

11:20 AM Air raid sirens in the Ashkelon area and Be'er Tuvia Regional Council. The rocket that explodes in Be’er Tuvia injures a woman.

11:41 AM Officials from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad tell Al-Hayat newspaper that they have rejected the ceasefire proposal from Israel.

12:05 PM A rocket explodes in front of a house in the Shaffir Regional Council. People suffer shock and there is material damage.

12:06 PM A bomb explodes a bus in Tel Aviv on Shaul Hamalech Street, one of Tel Aviv’s main thoroughfares. At least 21 people are injured. Eyewitnesses said the terrorists climbed on the bus, placed the bomb and fled the scene. Ambulances and emergency personal immediately arrived at the scene.

12:15 PM As part of the manhunt on the terrorists, the police sets up road blocks in Tel Aviv.

12:20 PM When local radio in Gaza report the bus bombing, celebration breaks out.

12:30 PM Hamas continues rocket barrages with two rockets exploding in Eshkol Regional Council.

1:08 PM Air raid sirens in the Eshkol region

1:22 PM The terrorists from the bus bombing in Tel Aviv are still on the loose, and the municipality sends out instructions to keep children in school buildings for their protection.

1:37 PM Hamas boasts about the bus bombing on their twitter account.

1:54 PM School and kindergarten students in Tel Aviv are allowed to return home.

1:55 PM Air raid sirens all over Beersheva and surroundings.

1:56 PM The rockets aimed at Beersheva land in open areas, and the Iron Dome intercepts one.

2:41 PM Izzat Al-Rishak from Hamas posted on his Facebook in response to the Tel Aviv bus bombing that Israel "should expect the worst."

3:28 PM The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament Speaker confirms that Iran has sent military assistance to the Gaza Strip: "We are proud to defense the people of Palestine and Hamas."

3:30 PM Funeral in Jerusalem of yesterday’s 18-year old victim from a rocket attack in Eshkol.
