Hezbollah, Hamas in Shows of Support for Iran

Jerusalem, Feb. 9 – Hezbollah and Hamas, both internationally designated as terror organizations that seek Israel’s destruction, are paying homage this week to their paymasters in Tehran.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah claimed his armed force won the 2006 war with Israel because of the help it received from the Islamic Republic, admitting his organization had been bankrolled and armed by Iran since its inception.

“Yes, we received moral, and political and material support in all possible forms from the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1982,” he told supportersduring a speech marking the anniversary of the birth of Muhammad, the founder of Islam.

Meanwhile, Hamas’ leader in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniya is visiting Iran this week. He will receive an honorary doctorate from the country that trains, arms and funds Hamas. Like Hezbollah, Hamas is committed to destroying Israel.

Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei last week made no secret of the fact that he shares this desire.

“The Zionist regime is a cancerous tumor and it will be removed,” Khamenei told worshippers in a Tehran mosque.

The Tehran-Hezbollah-Hamas triangle is completely dedicated to wiping the Jewish state of the map. For now they operate in the realms of frequent rocket strikes, terror attacks and incitement. The addition of nuclear weapons to their arsenal will not only threaten Israel’s existence but also put the lives of millions at risk in Europe, the United States and beyond.
